Computational Dermatology Lab

Our research lies at the intersection of computer vision and dermatology. Tackling one dermatological condition at a time, we develop computational image analysis tools to quantify and gain new disease insights from what expert dermatologists see.

Our long term research program has the following three main complementary goals:

• Quantify skin conditions in a repeatable and reliable way to help advance skin-related research and improve disease prognosis

• Provide a centralized and standardized source of dermatological data for big data analysis

• Make expert level care more widely available
