About the Lab:
Dr. Glanz is the George A. Weiss University Professor in PSOM and a Professor of Nursing in the School of Nursing. She is Director of the Penn Prevention Research Center and the Center for Health Behavior Research. Her basic and translational research focuses on applying theories of health behavior and new health communication technologies. Especially relevant to this Program, Dr. Glanz conducts CDC-funded research to develop effective messages and communication strategies to reduce UV exposure and prevent skin cancer.
Training Information:
As a trainer, Dr. Glanz contributes her experience on patient centered outcomes research, and provides expertise in applying health communication, and developing, implementing, and evaluating interventions.
