About the Lab:
Dr. Soslowsky’s research program is focused on structure-function relationships in tendon and ligament and mechanisms of injury, healing, repair, and regeneration of tendons and ligaments. These studies are multi-disciplinary in nature, have a strong basis in mechanics, with other assays such molecular biology, biochemistry, histology, imaging, and in vivo assessments being utilized, often in animal model systems. He serves on the external advisory committee of the SBDRC and is Associate Dean for Research Integration and for Research Core Facilities.
Dr. Soslowsky has trained numerous students for the past 25 years that have gone on the NIH-funded academic faculty positions at leading institutions.
