Laura F. Su, MD, PhD
Assistant Professor
Department of Medicine
Perelman School of Medicine
About the Lab:
Dr. Su’s research focuses on the intrinsic factors and external modulators of immune responses during homeostasis, in response to vaccines/infections, and in autoimmunity. The lab seeks to define mechanisms of T cell pathology in human diseased states, with a particular interest in T cell engagement with microbial antigens during homeostatic condition as a mechanism for programming inflammatory or tolerigenic T cell responses in infectious and autoimmune diseases.
Training Information:
The Su lab consists of many talented trainees and is actively recruiting postdocs, graduate students and undergraduate students at this time. Current and past trainees include 5 undergraduate students and 5 postdoctoral fellows. Four graduate students have rotated through the lab. Members of the laboratory participate in weekly one on one discussions, journal clubs, seminars, and group meetings.
