Christoph Ellebrecht, MD
Assistant Professor
Department of Dermatology
Perelman School of Medicine
About the Lab:
Research in the Ellebrecht lab is focused on immune cells in autoimmunity and T-cell manipulation for use as precision cellular immunotherapies. The lab employs single cell multiomics to dissect fate decisions in human immune cells, with the ultimate goal of uncovering the intricacies of autoimmunity and translating their findings to engineer next generation immunotherapies.
Training Information:
Dr. Ellebrecht came up through the Penn Dermatology T32 program and was a postdoctoral fellow under Dr. Aimee Payne. Dr. Ellebrecht is now faculty and training the next generation of T32 trainees. Along with Dr. Aimee Payne he is co-mentoring Casey Lee, an MD PHD student. Currently his lab has three postdoctoral fellows, including one T32 Fellow.
