About the Lab:

Dr. Bittinger’s work focuses on bioinformatic approaches to measure and model the human microbiome, particularly through the analysis of high-throughput DNA sequencing data. Dr. Bittinger regularly collaborates with many colleagues as director of the analytical core laboratory for the CHOP Microbiome Center, and has provided analytical support for hundreds of projects related to the human microbiome.

Training Information:

Dr. Bittinger is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Group (CAMB) faculty, and works with trainees through the core. He also serves on many PhD thesis committees.
