Penn Dermatology Fellowship in Skin of Color Programs

Penn Dermatology is committed to the patients we are privileged to care for, and we seek to build a variety of expertise within the dermatology workforce to better serve those patients. In 2018 Dr. Susan Taylor, in the Department of Dermatology, founded the Fellowship in Skin of Color Dermatology program. This program was designed to provide medical students interested in becoming dermatologists with experience learning Skin of Color dermatology through research and mentorship. Funded by the Department of Dermatology, the program sponsors two year-long pre-residency fellowships and a newly established postdoctoral research fellowship.
