Ruth Gottlieb Research Opportunity Fund Established To Support PASH & PARS Programs

The Penn Academy for Skin Health (PASH) and Penn Academy for Reproductive Sciences (PARS) and are now supported by Ruth Gottlieb Research Opportunity Fund.

A new endowment named in memory of alumna Dr. Ruth Gottlieb, who received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania provides generous funding for the PASH and PARS program.  Coordinated by award-winning educator Dr. Jamie Shuda, these programs engage underserved high school students in the Philadelphia area. Students are introduced to clinicians and research scientists and participate in hands-on research workshops. PASH and PARS graduates are also eligible to apply for paid summer internships.

We are grateful and honored to continue the Legacy of Dr.Gottlieb in training the next generation of physicians and scientists.  You can support these vital programs by donating directly to the Ruth Gottlieb Research Opportunity Fund.
