There are many resources available to trainees, both funding opportunities and for support with grant preparation. Below are a few that many of our trainees have taken advantage of and may be useful.
This not an exhaustive list and you should be proactive in researching grant opportunities. Also, be sure sign-up for relevant funding, seminar, and workshop opportunities through Penn and external organizations.

NRSA F31 Fellowships
Our trainees have a strong track-record for receiving F31 Fellowships, with 5 students awarded funding in 2021!
T32 options at Penn
In addition to the Penn Dermatology T32, there are many T32 training opportunities available for predocs

Dermatology Foundation
The DF currently supports nine Penn Dermatology Investigators!
The DF Research Awards Programs offers multiple funding mechanisms from research grants to career development awards. Applications are due on or around October 15th each year. All applications must be sponsored by the Department. Check back in the summer for more details on how to begin the application process.
American Cancer Foundation Fellowship
Paola Kuri, PhD of the Rompolas Lab received an ACS fellowship in 2019.
Deadlines are April 1st and October 15th
Prevent Cancer Now Foundation
Aayushi Uberoi, PhD, of the Grice Lab was awarded the 2021 Awesome Games Done Quick Fellowship.
