The Chillest or the Sweatiest Ape?

Penn SBDRC investigator, Dr. Yana Kamberov, and colleagues recently discovered how humans evolved to develop a high sweat gland density in the skin. The research, published in PNAS, provides mechanistic and genetic insight into why humans are the sweatiest of the Great Apes.
